"KNOT ON CALL" is powered by the highly desirable twin Cummins 450HP Diamond Series diesels that are fresh water cooled with approx. 1550 hours.  Her maintenance regimen is done by the book, everything recommended by Cummins is performed and up to date, and her engine room is very clean!!  Recent notable preventative maintenance in 2017/2018 includes heat exchangers and cooler services, upgraded AGM 8D batteries, new PROMATIC 12V/50amp SMART BATTERY CHARGER(2018), new Iso-mount engine mounts on both motors, both engines aligned, newcutless bearings, dripless shaft logs with spare seals on both shafts, props balanced, rudder ports re-packed, engine water pump impellers, oil & filters changed, primary & secondary fuel filters changed, coolant filters & coolant changed recently, Airsep air filters cleaned, new Serpentine engine belts, and more!!  Her Westerbeke 8KW generator located in a sound shield  has also been serviced in the same manner with recent fluid & filter changes, heat exchanger serviced, fresh coolant, new water pump impeller, etc.  Both engines are also equipped with DUAL RACOR FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLIES with pressure gauges allowing for ease in switching to a clean filter while underway.  All the Racor fuel filters have also been serviced with new gaskets, o-rings, bench cleaned, with fresh filter cartridges installed.  Most recently 05/2020, there were new main engine & generator raw water pump impellers replaced to include a full service to both engines and the generator.  Then in 06/2021 both main engines recveived full annual services to oil & filters, new long life coolant added after coolant flush on both main engines & generator to include new coolant filters for main engines.  06/2021 2 new AGM batteries, new generator battery, both engines air filter services, & both main engine drive & alternator belts replaced.  Being replaced 07/2021 are sanitation vent line charcoal filters, and fresh fuel filters on all.  HER MECHANICALS ARE TRULY TURN-KEY!!!
